FULL COURSE & REFRESHER THEORY & PRACTICAL DEMONSTRATIONS are Online (e-Learning of about 3-4 hours) and start from your enrolment date and to be completed prior to the PRACTICALS "face-to-face" (about 1.5 to 2.5 hours) on Wednesday 19 Nov 2025 @ 11:00am. There is no Assessment test required at the end. HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting (Childcare First Aid) This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to infants, children and adults. The unit applies to educators and support staff working within and education and care setting who are required to respond to a first aid emergency, including asthma and anaphylaxis emergencies. The unit of competency may contribute towards approved first aid, asthma and anaphylaxis training under Education and Care Services National Law, and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011).
